Well, I'm trying to keep my promise of more frequent updates. But with classes being what they are it's kind of hard to have time to get a good one typed out.
Starting with where I left off, Band Night at the fair went well. I always like getting to see them perform.
It was after Band Night that things went down hill, however.
My very first pet, my cat Doss, had been sick on and off for awhile. It's never been very serious, just some sniffles, but he had been loosing weight for a few weeks. When we came home, I gave him his kiss goodnight and realized just how bad he looked. I knew that what I had been dreading would happen soon.
Sure, enough the next morning, my Mum came to wake me up. She was crying and told me that she was so sorry. Before she could even say what happened I just said "I know what happened." I was still completely shell shocked though, as I gave her one of my old t-shirts to wrap him in. My Dad then took him out to the woods were all of our other pets are. I was devastated, even though I knew it was going to happen and knew that he was better off.
The rest of the morning while I was eating breakfast and getting ready, a bunch of our other cats were following me around and giving me extra attention. I'm pretty sure they knew how I felt, sweet little buggers that they are.
As of now I'm doing a bit better. I still think that I see him out of the corner of my eye sometimes, but it usually turns out that it's Arnold, who's now as big as Doss once was. I just know that he's happy wherever he is...probably playing with Ginger <3
In slightly less depressing news. Classes are in full swing. German is going swimmingly and my vocabulary is increasing. We're now learning the Days of the Week and how to tell Time, as well as listing our favorite activities.
Scriptwriting is a blast, TV production is interesting, I ADORE my World Religions class and Professor, and my 3D Gaming class is a lot of fun.
That's about it. I'm now just looking forward to the arrival of my Hetalia DVD's <3 and the Newman Center used Book Sale this weekend.
