Creative subject line...
So, my cold has gotten a little better! It's gone from my head and now I'm just coughing >o< *hack* But what I'm trying to say is thank you all for the well wishes! <3
Today I set up my combo DVD/VHS player in my room. I can now watch DVD's back there on my TV that was my Mum's when she was my age! Sure, it would have been a HELL of a lot easier for me to just get a new TV and hook it up easily, but that TV works just fine. Not only that, but it's such an awesome old TV. It's got a pull knob to turn on and adjust the volume, and it's fake wooden sides throw off the whole scheme of my room. But I love it, I really, really do.
But besides the fact that I'm kinda obsessive with older stuff, I sat in my room for the afternoon (ignoring homework), and watching the 2nd season of Metalocalypse again. All while hacking my lungs out. But I digress, I needed a day like this.
*sigh* Other than that, not much has gone on. It's getting warmer thank goodness, and the birds have started to return. I saw 4 robins yesterday! It was so wonderful to hear them singing in the morning.
I also encourage you to look out your window tonight, the moon's near full and it's positively beautiful over here at my house. <3
