A strange thing...mystifying....
So Jesus Christ Superstar was fan-friggin-tastic! The presentation of it live was absolutely wonderful, not to mention that Ted Neely played Jesus in the original film version. He was great, you could tell that he was well seasoned in the role. And the guy who played Judas, James Delisco was amazing too.
We even got to meet him in the lobby afterward. He was signing programs and such, and there was hardly anyone around him. So, cheez0rs and I went up. It was just us and a couple of older ladies (who I swear were us only older). They asked us to take their picture and I agreed. They even took one for us on my cell phone. I'll post it here. He was very nice and very personable and funny :3
Other than that, the sets were AWESOME! It was every Crew kids wet dream. The way the cross came out of the floor was really cool, and I sat there watching as some of the actors (the executioners) doubled over as crew and moved the floor around to raise the cross. It was fun to watch.
But, besides that, I believe I have a cold. I woke up this morning with a sore throat and feeling like I got hit by a freight train...blah. I plan on going to bed early for the next few days that's for sure!!
But yes, here we are with Judas. cheez0rs was going to say that he wasn't as bad as the Bible made him out to be...but I told her I'd disown her if she did XD
