Today is my eldest brother's birthday.
I called mother this morning to see if she was alright. Perhaps she doesn't realize what day it is . . . or she's starting to get better about it.
In September it'll be 21 years that David's been gone. He would have been 40 today.
I wish I could remember him. I guess he talked a lot on the phone and he made friends easily and he was always smiling.
Heh. I'm at the other end of the spectrum and Bill's in between.
Anyways, on to other things.
My job is still alright, I suppose. A bit boring and repeatitive, but I'm coping. I wonder if I'm really cut out to be a librarian. Or rather, a librarian in a big city. Part of me says I need to be in the fiction section. I want to help people find good books and authors. Answering reference questions, although interesting, will get to me after a bit, methinks.
But I'll bide my time here now.
I wish I knew where I was going . . .
Oh well. There's more than enough time to wonder about that, huh?
The third season of Inuyasha (yeah, yeah, I know it's crappy, but I like it so stuff it!) is in the living room but I can't watch it. There was broken stuff in it. Cass said she emailed the people about it . . . I hope something comes of it soon 'cause I would like to watch the third season . . .
Jen asked me if I didn't like WoW. I said I did and pointed out about my 10-day subscription running out. She then pointed out I have a 30 day one too. ohhhhhh. So I'll probably be playing WoW even though it has the tendency to kill my pc.
In the world of Sims, nothing entertaining is happening. Christine's son is in college and is constantly checking himself out. Everytime you turn around, the boy has a mirror out and is making faces into it. Steph's kid is more attached to Christine than his own mother. Cassie is kinda in love with some guy but is too worried about money to do anything about it. (*cough*) Chris moved in with his mate, Pascal. I keep expecting Chris to get abducted by aliens with all the time he spends looking through telescopes. My sim is . . . married and has a teenage daughter, a young son, and a baby on the way. She seems happy . . . for a mad scientist. (Not of the Knob Gobling variety, however.)
I should go do something . . .
