“I’m gonna bite Hara now because I need some heterosexual stuff after being witness of too much gay tension around me. My eyes and I do feel sexually harassed!”

[Sunday 2PM]
somewhere at the Hand River

Making an approachable plan in his mind was one thing, putting it in action was something totally different. He almost felt like back in the days when he was a little boy who should introduce himself to a bunch of frightful looking adults. It was ridiculous since Chansung was younger and should speak respectfully to him. But when Jiyong wasn’t around them, he never does.
Seunghyun and Chansung weren’t as straight forward as Junhyung. Neither had Chansung the loutish manner to talk back. But Chansung showed his disapproval with his whole body language. A nauseated glare of the younger one was more hurtful than every curse. Seunghyun wasn’t sure if Chansung just wasn’t able to hide his true feelings or if he simply not claimed to do. Either way he meant what he expressed and that made Chansung too honest to bear with.

Seunghyun sneaked closer to his target, to figure out the right timing to come across.

Luckily he hadn’t enough energy anymore to turn around and escape. Not having any other options left, since Junhyung followed him less carefully and more obvious, he had to act quickly not to get discovered and dumbfounded.
Seunghyun took some quick steps to reach up to the place next to Chansung while clearing his throat soundfully.

He didn’t plan to startle the boy therefore he tried to be as noisy as possible to get his attention. It was enough when Seunghyun himself felt scared like shit. But nothing happened, Chansung didn’t even bother to look up nor did he say anything.

It was disappointing, even disaffection was better than being completely ignored.

Not being able to get any reaction was as if he was dead and there wasn’t any sort of sensation he could even temp to change. He believed Chansung actually played a mad mind game with him. He wasn’t as weak as Chansung might think and he was ready to play along. But then he realized that Chansung wasn’t ignoring him. Well particularly he did, but probably not out of malignity, but more because he was totally focused on folding a paper. Suddenly guilt crawled into his heart for presuming something about the younger one. It was Seunghyun who impolitely bugged him, seeking for regard without considering that Chansung might be doing something important.
Now subsequently he waited silently for the younger to finish his work still feeling anxiously around Chansung. It was impossible not to notice how unwelcome he was. But he was here to change that fact, and he didn’t have to worry too much since he wasn’t alone. Speaking of his best friend he could hear his scuffing steps reaching up to him and ended abruptly somewhere close to him. Since Seunghyun couldn’t locate the sound of ruffling textiles he assumed that the younger stood behind him.

He heard Junhyung breathing and he surmised his presence which calmed him. Quickly he leered to his best friend just to flash him a weak but thankful smile.

The atmosphere was awfully heavy and it was almost possible to cut the thick air between them. Chansung took his time to fold the paper diligently. He wasn’t comfortable though but neither did it deter him to finish his work detailed. Everything had to be perfect.
Wondering what he had expected. Why did he keep on waiting for something that ridiculous yet again?! A promise that never was made to be fulfilled.

He was relieved when he finally finished his paper boat. It was a good excuse to bring some space between him and the other two and shut the dark thought out of his mind. He wasn’t sure how he managed to get up without being eager but somehow he could perfectly hide his raising heartbeat. The water was reached in short time and he hesitated. Kneeling down wasn’t something Chansung liked to do in front of others. Especially when it contented that he had to show his back to a not-reliable person. But he was too concerned about the ship in his hands which easily could sink if he wasn’t careful enough. As compromise he just hunkered down as much as necessary to deliberately set it in. Once he was sure it swam on its own, he let it slide away together with all his wishes, into the freedom it belonged to. The stream took it immediately and dragged the small paper out into the torrential flow. Although the waves looked so invincible for such a tiny thing, it didn't sink. Compared to the vessel the water seemed dark and colourless almost like a nightmare. The small craft fought fearlessly the destiny it was cart in.

It was a short moment of peace, the three boys shared in an odd union. Watching longingly how the small boat floated away into an unknown future, carrying their unfulfilled dreams. Chansung’s eyes were a bit teary but he would never admit that. Of course it was the wind, and not the emotional moment of saying goodbye to a part that belongs to him eventhough only briefly. When Chansung dared to turn around the magical spell over the scenario instantly broke apart. Shattering into tiny pieces and with every part the tense between the gathered persons seemed to grow.

It was then when Seunghyun noticed how trapped Chansung must have felt.

He almost looked like a cornered doe, ready to struggle until his final breath.
Seunghyun could sympathize since Junhyung’s stare could be very creepy.

He wasn’t someone Chansung usually met if he wasn’t forced to. It was surprisingly enough that he actually had the heart to interrupt him, which made Chansung wary.

They might have planed to prank him? Junhyung was unfamiliar and not relatable in any memories Chansung had. He wasn’t sure what he was supposed to think but he knew that he didn’t want to deal with it. His defence insisted to glare at them as repining as possible

“Could you both leave, please? I wanna be alone!”

Though Junhyung had his own proposition than just to freely obey Chansung’s will. He wasn’t really acquainted with the younger but he knows that Chansung often hurt Seunghyun’s feelings. Junhyung didn’t end up in the same High School as Seunghyun so he had to pay back the people bullying Seunghyun whenever he could.

Seeing it as the perfect bargain of fate to return that open debt to Chansung. He was sure this brat deserved to get chastised.

“I don’t really care what you want us to do since I don’t see any sign which says you own this place.”

“Well then, I go.”

Chansung wasn't willing to fight for something so absurd, so he gave in.

“Whatever. It’s not like we'd miss you sweetie.”
Seunghyun sighted, he really didn’t plan it to end up like this.
He thought it could be a chance of becoming Chansung’s friend but knowing Junhyung he should have known better. Already pitying himself again, mostly because the break he was hoping for wouldn’t last half as long as he had wished. Frightened from the though row, he had almost missed the change in Chansung’s face. He panicked!

“Where …?”
Chansung was back on the spot he left his belongings searching for something he obviously couldn’t find.
“Give it back!” he madly glared at Seunghyun. Since his suspect number one was sitting next to his left stuff, consisting of a small iPod, a banana milkshake, a pen from Thailand and the missing object.

“Give back what?” Seunghyun and Junhyung asked puzzled at once.

“My book!”

Chansung hissed, not in the mood for playing games.

“We don’t have your stupid book! Why should we take it?”
Junhyung impatiently was the cause for his sudden moodiness.

“Oh sure, the dog over there took it...”

“How should I know? I’m not your babysitter.

If you can’t watch over your stuff, don’t blame others.”

While both quarrelled again, Seunghyun actually searched for the missing item and found it between his back and the stairs. He probably sat on it without noticing since it was slim, grey like the stairs and inconsiderable. With one exception the golden English letters on the cover front. ‘Diary’

Wait?

Did he actually hold Chansung’s aka his enemy’s Diary in his hands?
This was much better than he could ever dream of.

It felt like holding the magical key to the land of milk and honey in his fingers. This meant power and -

“Don’t even dare to touch it!”

Chansung almost jumped into his face to snatch it back. To his bad Junhyung was faster since he stood closer to Seunghyun.
“Are you always that bitchy Chansung-ah?”

Junhyung teased the younger one.

“I don’t allow you to speak comfortable with me, even if I’m younger it’s still Chansung-sshi for you!”
He tried to jump up but Seunghyun was in his way and Chansung got frustrated.

“It’s not yours and I haven’t done anything to you.

Just give it back please!” he tentatively blurted out without a second thought.

Seunghyun compassioned for him and so he searched for Junhyung’s eyes to confidence him to stop. Looking up he only saw that Junhyung enjoyed the force in his hands a bit too much for Seunghyun’s liking. This went too far away from the outcome he had imagined.

“Suddenly pretty tame, aren’t we?”

“What do you want?”
Chansung bickered but he wasn’t as fierce as Junhyung anymore.
“I don’t know. What could an impolite fag offer me?”
Chansung took aback, he hadn’t expected such blunt words and it obviously scared him.
But not only Chansung was surprised by Junhyung's sudden turn to violence.
“I think you need some punishment to understand that your rudeness isn’t the way how to treat people. You are impolite and I think you deserve more that this but I permit you if you offer him a blowjob.” Junhyung’s voice was commanding and wasn’t allowing any dissent which let both boys frown in shock. His order still boomed in Seunghyun’s head and it was difficult to antagonize the urge of opening his belt. This had to be a dream right? Seunghyun will wake up soon from the ringing sound next to him. While his mother would gatecrash exactly right on time to have the perfect few of lowered shorts that exhibit his pelvic and more.

Chansung on the other side was obviously daunted but not defeated. He was about to attack Junhyung when his wrist got firmly grabbed. Of course he was terrified and tried to combat himself free but he ended up being dragged around into a protective and warm hug.

“Shhhh…”

It didn’t take Chansung long to bite into his savior’s shoulder to struggle himself out of the embrace. While Chansung caught up the things that just had happened pretty quick two others had their trouble to keep up.

“You scared me Nichkhun!”

Chansung still was a little furious but he also felt secure and assuaged now. He almost cuddled back into Nichkhun’s chest searching for protection. He never would acknowledge or confess those feelings; it wasn’t something to be proud of. Especially since Nichkhun himself wasn’t faithful. He loved to play his pranks with Chansung and his jokes never were that g-rated either. But the big difference was that Chansung trusted Nichkhun blindly. Said Thai made sure to not let go of Chansung’s wrist until he was sure Junhyung had spotted his territorial requirements. “Let’s go Chansung, Taecyeon is waiting.”

Nichkhun answered coolly but he wasn’t paying attention to Chansung.

“You know they just picked on me, but considering your suggestion of a peaceful Sunday I might keep that offer.”

Chansung finger pointed at the lower part of Seunghyun body not even slightly embarrassed but sulking.
Nichkhun tried to ignore his painfully aching heart.

“I promise you I will buy you some snacks on the way.”
“Snacks aren’t gonna be enough if I have to learn English today.”

Chansung was pouting cutely by now and Nichkhun had to resist not to just kiss those attractive shimmery wet lips.

“Let me be you knight for once, I promise I will take care of you today. I will save you like I ‘m doing it right now.”

“I don’t trust you! You are always tricking -“

Chansung cross-eyedly starred at the precisely placed finger against his lips; successfully distracted.

“Cut that scolding, kitten. You still owe me something, and I don’t want your pretty lips to be somewhere -“

“Don’t tell them!” Startled Chansung came back to his mind and pushed Nichkhun away from him. Although his words were harsh his eyes were begging Nichkhun to keep quiet.

He knew Nichkhun wasn’t as innocent as he looked like, but why did he always have to play with his heart? His answer was a wink, and Chansung wasn’t sure if he still should feel secure.

But Nichkhun kept his promise and took care of Junhyung. He roughly pulled the younger one a few steps away from the others. Just to hold a small private conversation. Junhyung gave in and returned diary back. Nichkhun still had a grudge on the younger one and didn’t miss the opportunity to harshly collide with Junhyung’s shoulder while walking off.

Seunghyun never felt that anxiously and he wondered if Chansung felt the same. The youngest was nervously biting his inner lips while his eyes were almost glued on Nichkhun’s back. Both waiting boys felt obviously relived when Nichkhun turned around to hand the diary back to his proper owner. Seunghyun didn’t miss how Nichkhun’s hand softly brushed Chansung’s finger while he passed it over. An unnecessary action but none of them seemed to care.

“How did you find me?”

He could hear Chansung softly saying.
“I told you I would when you're here.”

“You did.”
Chansung whispered while he put away his things.

Nichkhun helped him and was about to grab the banana milk when Chansung’s next question surprised him.
“You were drunk yesterday, weren’t you?”

“How?”
Nichkhun dashed out and Seunghyun could tell he felt caught.

“Your voice is deeper when you were.”

“Did we … meet last night?”

He didn’t need to see their faces to hear the guilt dripping from Nichkhun’s words.
This just got even more interesting for the clandestine listener.

“If you're worried I might have seen you with a girl, no I haven’t. But I do know you have met one. I can smell her cheap perfume on you and after all the -.”
But sadly it was the last thing Seunghyun was able to eavesdrop since both left without any goodbyes. Seunghyun shuddered, Chansung’s words contained something he couldn’t determine.

“If you ask me, they both are fucking rude.”

He almost totally forgot about Junhyung and his voice dismayed him.

“And you really don’t need to worry about Jiyong anymore.”

Junhyung spit on the ground in annoyance he was so mad he had to omit it.

“What did Nichkhun say to you?”
Not able to hide his curiosity any longer Seunghyun had to ask now.

“He said: ‘I know you were just joking right now 'coz if you weren’t I would have to beat you both up. So if you ever dare to treat him like that again I won't let you go off’”

“You were joking?”

“Of course I was!! What the hell did you think?
That I'm just gonna buy chips and watch how you get sucked off?
No way dude!!”
Junhyung starred in disbelieve of his friend before he actually burst out into a loud laugh. The whole situation was just so mind fucking.

“I just wanted to teach Chansung a lection and thanks to that cocky boy I obviously failed.”
“You know you scared even the shit out of me! I mean I was about to obey and just open my belt!”

“Watching you getting your sexual fulfilment never ever gonna happen!”
But Junhyung was still grinning.
“Your sure you're name wasn’t Edward?”
Junhyung deserved to be teased now.
“I’m gonna bite Hara now because I need some heterosexual stuff after being witness of too much gay tension around me. My eyes and I do feel sexually harassed!” Sadly Junhyung enjoyed this weird situation and strangely enough he felt at ease when everything around him seemed to burst.

Seunghyun worried for nothing, Junhyung let him rest for a bit and they both enjoyed togetherness for a few minutes. But later when they reached the place Junhyung left his bicycle their gasped in disbelieve. It wasn’t there anymore, stolen by a stranger; it wasn’t Junhyung’s week.

“Well at least it wasn’t my father's e-bike. I think I need a beer now!”

Seunghyun was bad in finding the right words. But when he turned around to face his Dongsaeng he was surprised to see him grinning.

He had forgotten, for Junhyung guilt was a foreign word and was crazily off-minded in troublesome situations. Seunghyun himself was happy about the stolen bike, because it also meant the bell was away but then sensed the pressure on his back.
“Junhyung, I don’t want to be rude, but does someone from your family own a rickshaw?”

“No, why?”

“Thank god …. Just curious.”

When Seunghyun realized that Chansung made a boat out of a ripped diary paged he really would have liked to hunt it. But the boat was already somewhere far away:

Somewhere out there was a small boat with an invisible crew. Fighting together for the boat not to sink; against unseen creatures of the darkness made of nightmares and shattered dreams. The ship maintains its course to the other side of our shadows. And there was nothing that ever could harm it, because it was made out of hope and trust.

It safely kept a lonely and sad secret, never meant to be seen by anyone.
