Independence, even if it's just the concept of it, is worth celebrating.

Absolutely. Though why we tend to celebrate it with fireworks and barbecues is beyond me. Not gonna complain, however.

I guess so. I mean, I've seen fireworks outside the States, so I guess it never occurred to me.

Maybe not the fireworks themselves, but the... I guess I mean the whole package. Explosions have always been used in celebration - gun salutes and the like, and we are fond of our bar-b-cue.

Don't. I rarely think about it. Probably because American Independence is something I predate. Although I did enjoy it while I was human.
