Ugh! It's been so long since I last updated this. Again, I'd love to try updating this more often, but due to my usual forgetfulness, I can't make any promises.
So, I recently graduated from undergrad university. Well, not technically graduated, since I finished up all of my classes but I'm not due for graduation until the end of next quarter due to missing the last deadline. But pedantics, schmedantics - what matters is that I'm done! I couldn't be happier to never have to deal with Spanish classes again.
I bought an art book for Kino's Journey recently, and it showed up on my doorstep just today. Not my pics, but they're of the same item on the seller's listing. I'm just far too lazy to take any of my own at the moment, but I may at a later date. (That usually means I won't.)
Seriously, I adore this thing. The condition is so near-perfect that I'm afraid of touching it. D: What's interesting is that it's not solely a Kino's Journey art book (hell, "Kino no Tabi" itself doesn't appear on the front), but rather a showcase of the artist's work, both Kino-related and non-Kino. The first third obviously focuses on the Kino's Journey light novels (not the anime, there's another art book for that that I'm thinking about nabbing as well). The second part seems to focus on other light novels that the artist has contributed to. Surprisingly, only a little bit focuses on Allison & Lillia; the rest of this portion is for stuff I don't recognize. The last section has original works, and some of it is a bit fanservice-y, something I wouldn't expect out of something with Kino on the cover, but it's all good.
I like how last time I rambled on about my spending habits, and here I am showing off my latest purchase. Wah.
