I'm back!

I've been out for a solid 4 days. I'm talking 18-hour naps, not enough energy to email my professors to say "dude i'm sick," and without any appetite out. The appetite thing is strange for me. your mommy's filipino, right? i love that quote. it makes me want to call my mom, not so she can give me ceramic elephants and a domestic belgian waffle iron, but i'd like to hear her asiatic voice again.

Yes filipino indeed. Imitating my mom's voice is one of my favorite things. Hearing her talk is even better.

it's sweet glorious music. except when you're a really shy kid just wanting a happy meal, but your mom's accent doesnt translate well into the drive-thru microphone so then she just gets angry and drives off.

the typed dictation of that accent is impeccable. i don't know if that sentence made sense, but i hope you know what it meant and that it was meant in the most honorable way possible.

Haha thanks. Keep in mind I grew up in a home where broken English and word-salad/creative strings of words were common. It all makes sense to me. However, I'm not entirely sure that I make sense.
