I'm back!

I've been out for a solid 4 days. I'm talking 18-hour naps, not enough energy to email my professors to say "dude i'm sick," and without any appetite out. The appetite thing is strange for me. I'm like a goat. I can eat anything anytime. That's sick, I know. I realize I have a problem. So I've lost 5 pounds in these 6 days and have a sudden desire to hop, skip, and run. It's almost time for skank-ass bikinis, so I'd better lose a few more.

I took about a thousand pictures last week. Mostly of bike rides and Tent State, but I'll post a few later.

Chris' parents gave him a new car yesterday. A brand spankin new car. And Chris is the type that would very shyly accept the car and all the while feel terrible for owning something so fancy. Every time he drives it he'll feel slightly guilty, I guarantee that.

My mom is so excited for some reason that I'm getting my own place in May. I haven't lived at home since I was 15 but she is acting like this is the first time. She called me today, "Karly, do you need a vacuum? How about a coutss (couch)? I hab dis bread maker we don't use." I try to explain to her that I'm trying to keep clutter-free, but she's so excited to give me things, I might as well accept them. Included in the long list of inherited junk is a living room set designed for either A. a fancy pants waiting room or B. your grandparent's living room (the grandparents that collect oil paintings and ceramic eggs). Yes, yes, okay mom, you can baby me still. I'm almost 22, right, that's okay, thanks mom.

Speaking of being sick for so long, I haven't yet enjoyed the benefits of daylight savings sunshine. It's overdue. 4:39 pm-- David and Lauren and I are about to ride bikes.

p.s. I said orange, lily, cucumber. So Nick and I are practically soulmates (or at least in another life). I knew it.
