SNOW DAY
i'm declaring today a snow day.
UBC probably has twice as much snow, the busses will be all slow, and i slept a solid 10 hours and still feel tired.
this weekend was pretty fun. harry came over from victoria on friday, and we got gelato with eric. later we went to the alf house and saw the impossible babes. and i drank a lot. and we both ended the night with pink spraypaint all over our hands. sweet!
saturday was in stride's last show, which was pretty great. i purposely missed the bands i didn't wanna see and only saw the good'uns. and in between, jason, harry and i played nintendo and hung out with his cats.
sunday and monday i worked all day, then spent all my free time baking my mom a german chocolate cake and preparing her birthday dinner (yesterday). it went well and i think all my efforts were appreciated. oh, and the cake was sooo good.
today i should be in class, but fuck that. tomorrow i open at work, then school, then portland! i'm picking up mike from the airport on friday morning. so stoked!!!
sunday is my birthday. it's the big 2-1 so spending it in the states is a must. and, i haven't seen mike in a month!
