1. (most important) Has anyone here ever dyed their denims black? How would one go about doing this? I know of the rit dye method but i was wondering if there were any other ways

so, i think i stumbled upon your journal by way of the microphones community....and then i saw you knew rachel, and decided you were truly too cool for school! may i perhaps *friend* you?
p.s. you should stop by your local thrift shop and pick yourself up a pair of penny loafers! they are simply the best, and that way if you ever happen to happen upon a payphone that still requires only a penny, you will be in luck and able to make exactly two phone calls, you lucky devil you!

rachels good people.
teaching the inmates was pretty intense at times. the guards had a gruff regard for a bunch of liberal arts college kids in their prison. mostly though, the program was just disheartening.

gosh i can imagine fricition there.
i'm sorry it was disheartening. was it so, because you felt they weren't learning/they didn't care...or because of the state of it all, and the fucking incarceration hypcrisy?

wow, i would imagine that teaching poetry in a prison must have been a rather intense experience!
i went a summmer program with her at williams... i was her pink-haired, slam-poetess, neighbor.
and she was simply the bestest, ever, ever.
