Valentines Day has come and gone. I asked my dad what he got for Carol for Valentines day, and he got her a gift certificate to go to a spa. I hate that my parents were married for so long and didn't love each other. My dad never gave my mom anything like that for any holidays. He treats Carol much better than he ever treated my mom and it makes me really sad to see.

On a slightly lighter note, my dad gave me a card and money for valentines day last year. This year comes around and I naturally expect a card with some money right? Nothing. Now that he has his own valentine he doesn't give me money any more. Jerk. I'm not really mad, but an extra 20 bucks could have been really nice right about now.

I have to write 3 papers and take a midterm by March 1... this seems like a while off, but really its just that the midterm is March 1, and everything else is due sometime before that. Where was I going with this? I don't know, but I'm really looking forward to Spring Break (2-11). My goal is to have my resume sent out to at least 5 different places by then. I had the same goal set for the end of Winter break and I still haven't accomplished it, so realistically it might not happen. Eh. I was talking to my dad the other day and he is really pushing for me to become a teacher. That has always been my dads dream for me... I don't know why. So anyway, I was like "dad I can't teach without a degree in education." Dad says, "well, why don't you go to OUZ and get your masters in education?" 1. I really do want to get my masters degree sometime soon, not sure when and I'm not entirely sure I want to do education, although I think I do. 2. If/when I get my masters degree I will not go to OUZ. I transferred out of OUZ for a reason. I toyed with the idea of OU in Athens, but I doubt that too. I would need to live some where I could find a job to sustain me while I get this masters degree, and I don't see Athens as that place. 3. I haven't taken/even began to study for the GRE so yeah. My dads plan seems a little half baked to me.

This is long, for no reason other than I'm bored.
