And the Tigers are going to the World Series!

Not even going to bother talking about it. Tigers lead the series 3-0. It's over. The A's are done, the series won't be coming back to Oakland, and I'll be getting refunds on two ALCS tickets and a World Series ticket.

Congratulations, Detroit. You earned it.

Here's the next batch of photos, a little more game-only this time compared to the first. Losing both at home didn't put the A's in a very good position, so all I can do is hope this wasn't my last A's game to see and shoot this year. I know, it looks bad because it hurts the Angels again, but there's absolutely no doubt at all that Escobar tagged Pierzynski with an empty glove. Bad play, fhe first base ump was probably blocked, and they got it right in the end.

Added: Does the rain in Anaheim mean God is crying because the Angels are about to get knocked out of the post-season

Can they just apologize for the blown call and move on? They just look like asses making up shit about how he never said "out" so it didn't count. Even if they don't reverse the call, I'd think an apology would certainly put Eddings lower on Angels fans' shit lists ( Read more... )
