Same Shit, New Year

So, new year, new layout. I wanted something simple but I still don't know if I'm happy with this one. It's a pretty popular layout (called 'Peter Rabbit' by stimulus @ refutare) so I still might change it. I plan on at least tweaking the colors to my liking later on. I've posted most of my backlog of icons, some of which I've been holding onto since June. Ooops. My external harddrive died just before Thanksgiving so I lost most of my stuff. It remains to be seen whether it's fixable yet. Hopefully I'll get together some cash and find out soon. I know a guy who knows a guy who can maybe fix it. Fingers crossed. I'm basically starting over fresh. I've had to reinvent myself as far as saved inspiration, fonts and textures. I've also been making all my grahics on my Surface Pro 3, which has been a bit of a learning experience.

I'm currently working on my claim (The 100, I know, so predictable) over at 10in30 and I have a few textures that I plan to post soon. I really want to make some icons of Black Sails, Penny Dreadful, Killjoys and Mr. Robot sometime in the future if I can find the time. I really enjoyed those shows the most in 2015 and I've been sitting on caps of them for awhile now.

I rarely make icons just for the heck of it nowadays, usually they're for one challenge comm or another. These are some of my favorite challenge comms:
