Open letter to all of the people who work in the next cube farm

If I can hear your cell phone 2 rooms away, I have every confidence you can hear it, too. I am not going to pick it up, there is no reason for it to ring loud enough that I hear it through 2 closed doors. (See previous missive about the probablility of those doors being unlocked or open). Might I suggest turning it the hell down? You could put it on vibrate then put it on the desk next to you or in your pocket. I feel sure that in any environment, including the loud cube farm you cultivate, you will feel the vibration of the phone in your pocket and not miss that important call.
