Pain

Is there anything you can take that will induce any amount of amnesia? I'm thinking specifically of the (I really think it's probably a myth) post-partum thing - hormones or whatever.

I know just what you mean about being worn down by pain. If it keeps on and on, the difference between shrieking pain and dull ache matters less than one would think.

Also the intensity of the frustration is inflammatory.

God, everything that actually works on real pain is addictive, and most of them are variations of the same thing, THAT just fucking bites ass.

So I'm wondering if at least occasional amnesia might not get you some relief from the gnawing everpresentness factor? Maybe at least while you can still take Oxy, if Oxy flattens you anyway, if you could also be out from under the always burden for an afternoon.

Or am I out in magic wand land here? It SEEMS like they could do it. Hell, they can induce an "artificial coma" (aack!) - Oh, I don't know.

Hey, guess who might be following in the shoulder surgery beaten path? Well, hell, looked like so much fun when you did it...
