(no subject)
Last week I discovered via a Tweet that there are Disc Golf amenities right near my place! Infact, it's right across the road from me - I can see the lawns and trees from my apartment and I never even knew!
Best of all, it's FREE! Even renting discs/frisbees is free... I'm impressed. A full 9/18 hole course (you lap twice if you want 18 holes, but you tee off from a slightly different distance for the back 9) and I dragged Peter along yesterday for something fun to do in the afternoon. It was actually alot of fun! I was first introduced to it way back when I was living in Banff, Canada... a bit more scenic in the Canadian Rockies but no matter hehe... after some very very dodgy throws, we were finally getting the hang of it by the end of the day.
I'll be back to play again!

And yes, it was a great weekend! Of course. Briefly, we had a huge BBQ at my folks place with alot of their friends... ate out for brekky... disc golf... and went to see Avatar 3D. ohhhh my god, that movie is AWESOME. I want to see EVERYTHING in 3D from now on!!!!!!!!! (Preview for Shrek 3D looks fricking hilarious)
