(no subject)
Off to Brisbane in a couple hours. It's all creeped up on me because Christmas was so full on this year I haven't had a moment to myself until now. Now it's going to be NYE tomorrow already... yarghh... Where did the year go?? Where did December go!
I'm pretty excited about finally being able to spend a NYE with my boyfriend. It's been nearly a handful of years since I last was in the position to do that. And it'll mean something to me too, so I'm glad it's finally coming together. Yay, a pash at midnight. Last year was funny cuz Peter was in New York City and half a day behind. I left messages for him on my midnight and then finally got to speak to him after his midnight, drunkass, and freezing his head off (quote "my head is sooo cold" x 15) hehe.
I would have liked to have spent Christmas thsi year together in some way, but that wasn't on the cards for him. So a compromise for New Years will do me, and I bought a new dress to wear today - showed it to Skye today and got the thumbs up! It really brings out my tan, apparently, so I'm pleased! I'll fit in with the QLD crowd hehe. I hope my feet don't get too chewed up by my heels! Packing lots of bandaids :P
