The weekend up in Sydney
Damn my feeble human body! It seems that when I finally get a few days off from "life" here in Melbourne, my body decides it's a good time to seek revenge and get horribly sick for the entire weekend. Urgh... soooo tired and feel soooo wrong... I sucked it up for Sunday night drinks/reunion @ The Dilworths which was great :) I haven't seen the kids from the Marching Band either since 2000, or 2002 when I finished up with the band. Scary. But, the funny thing is, it felt like I hadn't really left when hanging out with many of them. It was great! In the end it was mainly the guys and girls I used to hang with anyway so that was really fun... crashed on the spare bed and ended up waking up and ungodly-7am and just drove home - to be all pooey and sick in my own bed at home.
So many good reminiscing stories came out of the party... really was the best time ever... What's funnier is that everyone has grown up and some of the young boys are now 20-somethings with beards - whoa! That's kinda weird. :P
It was really good to see Mum & Dad and my brother over the weekend. I've missed them alot lately. Did alot of talking and catching up... talking about the future... I've got alot of things to think about right now...
Sucked a bit knowing I was leaving again last night to come back down here. I really do love Melbourne. The weather, the temperament (like, it's a dog?) and just the life. But everything is coming to a head early next year and I need to weigh up the pros and cons. Yes it's all very cryptic right now, I will tell you more when I know more :P
So I'm still pretty sick, just mainly tired as heck.. my back really hurts... i couldn't go for my run this morning, kinda annoyed about that. I might just lay in bed until I have to go to work later - there are sooooo many dishes in the kitchen to do. Argh. Liv's been sick since last week too so that's all accumulated since then. Wrong, bleh.
Ah, and there are possible developments with Bart. More info later :P
