I know! I always, always check when I have my keys in my hand. It too is my nightmare. I just never expected to let go of a rather substantial bag too!

Woohoo! I'm usually more in tune to this when I have just the keys in my hand. I never expect to accidentally throw a whole bag in!

See, I could never have the glasses problem with *my* eyesight, but the purse thing I can relate to--except mine's been keys.

Glad you didn't have to do a half-gainer into the trash.
