Hello. I was hired at a Starbucks that is licensed through Kroger and is inside the store. This is in Tennessee.
I love my job. I'm still training and such. The sad this is...hours are being cut.
The reason? Well that is to be debated. It could because we're not making enough. This isn't true though...Because the manager says we're making more then expected. There is rumors the mangement of the Kroger think there is too many people working on one day. I doubt this because there is usually 2 to 3 on shift at all times, including me(a trainee).It could be, and this is just hear say, that Kroger wants more money so as to "prove our shop shouldn't be shut down." This was stated by my silly coworker who likes to exagerate things...a loooot.
But the truth is simple to us stable ones. The mangers of the Kroger we are licensed through have always been known rumored to pocket money. They are thevies and have a reputation of abusing their power.
We are getting redused to almost only 12 hours a week....
