I hate post baby mommy body. I'm waiting until the end of this week before I start exercising but I can't wait to get rid of the flabby belly and jiggly thighs and butt. I've lost 20 something lbs since Gabriel was born, but I've still got about 20-25 to go before I get to my goal weight. Time to break out the excersise videos again.
I'm feeling really fantastic. I've healed almost completely and my lochia is almost gone. So far (knocks on wood) Gabriel is a really good sleeper and sleeps for 3-4 hour stretches at a time so I feel pretty well rested. I'm getting more sleep now than I was in the last bit of pregnancy.
The kids are really enjoying the new swingset. Andy is out there playing with them now. We've also started taking them for a swim next door at Andy's grandparent's house every evening before dinner. The water is still chilly but they both love it. They obviously don't take after me, I can't stand cold water. I probably won't go swimming until late June/July.
In a little while I'm going to try a recipe I found for Devil's Food cake. I have some new citrus oils to play with so I'm going to make an orange cream cheese frosting. YUM. I've missed baking. I think the butter in my fridge misses me.
