and the rocks and the trees and all sang from joy

Yesterday Laura and I played hooky from school and stole away into the blissfully warm sunny autumn day. We climbed up to the top of Tähtitorninmäki and had the whole park to ourselves wathcing the sea, cuddling, lying on the rocks, talking, kissing, being. I hadn't expected her to skip studying, to come with me in the middle of the day to laze, but it was beautifully loving a gesture.

Recently, she's been doing so many little things that just fill me with love. Meeting me at the bus stop when I come home from work/orchestra late at night, surprising me by coming home early, spending an hour with me eating lunch in the middle of the day, leaving me notes, asking to go on a late-night walk with me... She is speaking my love language so loudly I'm just bubbling over.

How close we are, how open, how beautiful, how full.

I've been reading Michel Foucault lately and I have so much to say. I've missed being stimulated like this.

foucault, laura, love
