SCHOOL
OMG I can't even express how ridiculously excited I am about school beginning the week after next. Like holy shit i'm actually a student again!
tee hee. I've been keeping busy putting in my student aid application, getting my internet username/pwd, having info sessions and meeting my professors (who are incredible women!). Registering for classes begins next tuesday at 10am. I'll be ready at 9:55 with my finger on the mouse!
Here are my classes for the next 2 semesters: (don't they look awesome!)
FALL
-Feminist theories: gender, sexuality, and the critique of heteronormatism
-'Rainbow' families: love and/or politics
-Thesis writing seminar
-Academic writing workshop (internet course w/ 2 meetings per semester)
-Gender, reading and interpretation (4 day intensive seminar)
-Expression and Inscription: feminist perspectives on Embodiment (1 week intensive seminar, and my only course in English)
SPRING
-Men and Masculinities
-Postcolonial and postsocialist women's literature in English
-Thesis writing seminar
