Torchwood-Ianto's family

I want any information about Ianto's family, especially as I haven't yet read any of the books. Rumors abound that Rhiannon and Johnny are Ianto's sister and brother-in-law and will appear in Children of Earth along with their kid/kids.
Any information about his parents, if alive, if dead how they died, names, etc, is also appreciated.
I prefer to write canon than make it up.
