In case you didn't know, and if you were wondering, I have been rather sick for the past two days. Sick to the point of fever, decreased appetite, and a really painful throat. I went to the doctor yesterday, who said its a virus that will go away, and I'm already feeling so much better than I was feeling and will probably be back tomorrow.
Let me recap the past two days.
Tuesday:
-Woke up at seven, because that's how my internal clock works.
-Lay around for a while feeling miserable.
-Took my temperature, which was 100.5.
-Attempted to eat Cheerios for breakfast, but spilled a great deal of milk/cereal on my bed and moved to my parents' bed instead.
-Read some of the book Jessie lent me.
-Finished The Picture of Dorian Gray. Yes, I'm serious. Great book, by the way.
-Watched a hour's worth of A Bit Of Fry and Laurie.
-Decided that that really was incredibly exerting and went to sleep (on my parents' bed, in order to avoid the milk).
-Woke up in a sweat, which was disgusting.
-Took a bath, admittedly a sort of bad idea when one has a fever.
-Went to the doctor to make sure it wasn't strep, which it wasn't.
-Watched "Poison", the House epsiode with the poison pants and Syphilis Lady.
-Went back to bed (whoo, hard day).
-Ate dinner, which consisted of salmon and mashed potatoes.
-Watched some of Jeeves and Wooster.
-Made my mom wash my sheets.
-Went to sleep.
Wednesday:
-Woke up at 8:30 (man, that's some serious sleeping in)
-Made waffles, because I was feeling pretty damn good.
-Ate all but two of the waffles.
-Put the remaining waffles in the fridge, knowing perfectly well that they're never going to get eaten.
-Watched another episode of Jeeves and Wooster, and two of A Bit of Fry and Laurie.
-Finished Speaker For The Dead, because it's a fantastic book.
-Read some of Thank You, Jeeves, because it's another fantastic book.
-Slept for two hours.
-Woke up in a sweat again (I have now ruined both my pairs of pajamas, and need to wash them tonight)
-Took another bath, which was a better idea this time, since my fever had broken.
-Watched the "Role Model" episode of House, with the guy who reminds me of Obama. Yet this one was done in the '04 election. Makes me wonder if David Shore had some inside information.
And that about takes me up to now. I have put on some sweatpants and my science t-shirt, and I look like an odd combination of First Season!Cameron and an athletic person. Cameron because of my slightly paler complexion, and an athletic person largely due to the sweatpants. It's actually rather interesting. I spent about five minutes looking in the mirror and trying to find barrettes to complete the Cameron look.
I'm now off to eat dinner, which looks tasty. I'll probably see you tomorrow.
