Purim craziness

Mar 04, 2007 15:34

Even though it wasn't all that crazy.

BOSY (which is our youth group) sponsored the Purim carnival, which means we all went to Beth Shalom today and set up and ran all the events.  It was quite fun, basically because Adam and I sat there and he put a visor on and I bounced a ball off of it.  We saw Joel; it was really exciting.  I miss him; he was one of the best teachers ever.  (Insane amounts of semicolons!)  There was a really sulky girl there.  I wanted to hit her on the head with the nearest low-quality-plastic-toy-that-we-were-using-as-a-prize, but I figured the rabbi would frown on it.  Speaking of the rabbi, Adam and I admired her baby boy twins for quite a while.  They're adorable, and one of them grabbed my finger.  *squee*

I'm taking a break from biology, which I have been studying semi-diligently since I got home.  Both my parents are asleep.  This makes sense for my mom; she's sick... but my dad?  Oh well.

In other news, my library card expires in 2096.
