nano: still on track!

first off: here's my nano profile, in case we're not buddies yet.

anyway, this year, i'm doing things a little differently. instead of writing nothing for half the month and having some insane make-up days, i'm writing for 15 minutes a day during the week (~600 words usually) and an hour or so per day on weekends. i figured this will make the weekday writing less stressful for me, but still keep me on task. (no internet or new tv when i get home from work until i've written for 15 minutes, so there's real motivation too :D) i'm pretty bored with this part of the story already, but it's the basis for pretty much everything else so i just need to push through it.

and yesterday i did my first implausible theory about bob prompt: bob bryar is secretly neville longbottom. it was supposed to be short and silly, just a dumb little ficlet or whatever, but it sort of turned into a real story about neville coping with being an adult. (or not coping, as it were.) i don't really know how that happened! but i think i'm gonna follow this story for a couple of days and see where it takes me. jon walker, your life-ruining is ON HOLD!

in slightly related news, i need to go to american apparel sometime soon so i can make a new shirt for the deathly hallows premiere. depending on what kind of shirt i buy, i will either have my hugglepuff shirt or a bad-ass ginny and the pygmy puffs shirt i designed this afternoon. they're my favorite (sadly nonexistent) wizard rock band!

books: hp, she's crafty!, nano: crack-colored glasses, nanowrimo
