I know this topic was discussed to death with HP, but I honestly never paid much attention because JKR rarely Joss-ed me, and never for anything truly important. (And truth be told, I am quite happy to pretend that anything- even actual canon- that doesn't agree with me doesn't exist. Or I fanwank it. TRUFAX: I am so good at fanwanking it has been known to frighten getaway_machine (oh fauxcestuous camping, ILU). But I am really just trying to figure out what the next book in the established series is going to be about, so I am trying to decide how much of the spin-off counts. And the short story made me shout "DO NOT WANT" about 3 frillion times last night, so I guess it matters.)
