reason #183784 why i hate twilight:
lj smith has a new book out today. this is her first new book since 1997. is it the conclusion to her nine book series, which ended in an apocalyptic cliffhanger (and was arguably the thing i read most in hs, and was not at all arguably the thing that got me into internet and fandom)? no, it's a sequel to her twilight-esque vampire books, which ALREADY HAVE THE BEST SEQUEL EVER.
vd4 cannot be topped, and also i require more ash redfern. someone fix this.
(also, the new vd book matches the vd reprints, which i do not want to buy (even though, yes, they are very pretty). having a mismatched series is going to make me insaaaane. not on, publishers >:| )
