(no subject)
Ugh, I stopped being such a hermit today. Scott was doing open mic night (stand-up) up in New Brunswick, and Liz basically told me I had to go, so I went. Got wicked lost in New Brunswick (stupid place with its stupid mislabeled detour signs on 18), but I actually know the city better than I thought because I managed to get myself unlost twice. Went to a mexican place with Liz for dinner. I've never really had mexican before, except for like, school cafeteria tacos, and omg. It was so amazingly good I could eat it every single day. I got a grilled chicken...quesadito? It's a mix between and a burrito and...something. Whatever. Super-duper good. Mmmm. Liz is working up there now, AND she is getting an apartment there. SO EXCITED. She's be like, 45 minutes away instead of an hour and half! YAY!
Scott's routine was pretty good. The other comics ranged from "Seriously, do you think you're funny?" to "OMG HILARIOUS!" Good price too- $5 to get in (there were about 15 comedians), 2 drink minimum ($5 for two cherry cokes, woo!), and $4.50 for parking. All in all, good times. I even got to see the other Liz and Michele, yay!
I guess I should stop being a hermit. My month's up, right? Sigh.

In other news, I am currently dangerously obsessed with Pearl Jam. I made icons today (the set won't be done for a few more days), I'm considering making a mood theme, and I need to upload the rest of my cds. I just want to crawl into their music and stay there for a really long time. Is that too much to ask?
