(no subject)
i seem to be in the minority, but WOO! i thought chloe's collection was the most cohesive, the best made, and in general, pretty cool looking. santino had some interesting pieces, but they didn't all go together very well, they didn't fit his models, and they were kind of boring. and as much as i love daniel, i thought he could have done more with his collection. i wasn't wowed, and i thought that his main piece didn't fit very well (which seemed especially weird, since he, of all the designers, always had the best fit on his model). plus i thought grace looked absolutely stunning so i'm glad she won too.
i bought new pink and green old navy flip flops today because i was being a gigantic baby about my editing midterm (i got an 86 so clearly my life is now over) and decided the only cure was shoes that are still technically unwearable. (i was probably overreacting, but i got one question wrong and three bonus questions right on the first half, but sixteen wrong on the second half. !!!!! i blame the fact that the test was way too long for the class period. apparently i did pretty good though, since i got a sticker on my exam.) and anyway, i'm going back to my freshman year theory on weather. (that was when i decided that it was okay to wear flip flops in the snow because if god didn't want me to get pneumonia and die, he'd just make it warmer. so here's hoping for warmer weather!)
i'm excited for spring break. i don't get to see sheena and europe, but i *do* get to see kaitlin and hoenz and tray, and i also get to throw my first jewish st. patrick's day party, complete with green stars of david all over the walls. (it's ben's birthday on the 17th, so we've decided to make the holiday more ben-friendly. hah.) plus, the wait-list comes out on the 17th, so i will either be celebrating my triumph over the housing gods or drowning my random roommate sorrows that night. oh boy.
i have a midterm tomorrow that i don't want to study for. shocking, right?
