(no subject)
i know exactly how stupid this sounds, but i had a midterm today from 2:10 til 3:25 and i didn't finish it until 3:30. i have never in my life taken the whole class period to finish an exam! and there were still about ten people taking it when i left. i think i did ok- at most i got one wrong on the first half (she pointed out three errors and let us try to correct them) because i totally mixed up restrictive and non-restrictive phrases in four sentences, but i'm nervous about the actual editing part because there were numbers all over the place and it was about SUVs and i hate working with acronyms. sigh.
but then i bought tickets for kevin smith, yellowcard, and the spring semi-formal. we're thinking about buying a ton of extra kevin smith tickets and then scalping them once it sells out. but that would be wrong and i've been encouraged to give up breaking the law for lent.
for some reason, vampire mating habits keep coming up as topics of discussion, and everyone just automatically acknowledges me as the resident expert. i don't even talk about vampires that much anymore! hmph. (then again, i spent most of my time in high school watching vampire shows, discussing vampire shows, reading vampire books, discussing vampire books, stalking researching authors of vampire books, writing vampire fic, reading vampire meta books (oh vampire encyclopedia, you filled me with such joy when i discovered you), and then discussing those too. and while drunk on friday, i lectured my friends about various vampire mythologies that allow vampires to breed with each other, with humans, and with lycanthropes (in order to settle an argument about underworld). so i guess i deserve the title. is that the sort of thing i can put on my resume?)
i still have a half hour to kill before my meeting, so i'm going to do a survey that i stole from penyn_1600.
