Backing up strategies.
I live in fear that my apartment will be broken into/burned down/swallowed in a sinkhole and I will lose not only the computer, but the backup hard drive with Time Machine, and the thumb drive I back up to for extra security.
I often back up to a thumb drive I carry around with me in my purse, but in the event of fire/meteor strike/local nuclear disaster that, too, may get destroyed or lost concurrent with the contents of my apartment.
So...what backups-to-the-internet (and therefore someone else's server) do you use? I'm most concerned for my writing, of course, so I imagine I could compress the folder on occasion and email it to myself and let it sit on a server owned by Google or Microsoft.
But I'm kind of concerned as well for my freelance work, which usually involves large image and InDesign files. In a happy ideal world, I could keep a couple hundred gig backed up.
