BDubs!

Well, the Newport News BDubs has finally opened and I had a great time celebrating that fact...by camping out in a tent outside to be in the first 100 that was there to get Free Wings for a Year! Kathleen and I decided spur of the moment to camp out and it was a pretty amusing experience. Though the Free Wings For A Year is only 6 wings per week (which, really should suffice for how often I will probably eat there) I am glad we did it. Not often is it that you get a chance to do something like that.

It's raining here today, which means intramural softball was cancelled. I'm pretty glad about that fact. This gives me some time to have a quiet Sunday and get some stuff done around the apartment. (Plus I don't really enjoy playing softball anymore because I'm really not great at it. I enjoy the social aspect of the team and thankfully this season there are enough people playing that I can still be "on the team" and just hang around and take pictures.)

Eddie is up in NJ until Tuesday morning. He has an on-campus interview at Fordham University, in NYC. We visited the campus earlier this year to see an old friend of Eddie's. We got to see the apartment that comes with the job he is interviewing for. It overlooks Lincoln Center, which is completely amazing. The search process has been so long that I had gotten over getting hopeful about the job and moved on to wanting something different for the next stop in our lives. He has interviews elsewhere too coming up so we'll see.

Allright...I need to get productive around here (though I have no motivation!).
