Hello strangers.
Greetings from Ridgewood, New Jersey. We are up at Eddie's family's house for the long weekend. Everyone is out either at work or reffing a tournament so I am enjoying a lazy morning.
I will be venturing into NYC by myself this afternoon to get in line for half price Broadway tickets and then to wander about with my camera. I am very excited. As much as I love people, some of my favorite days have been spent by myself with my camera. I've looked around online to see what I might go see....I think I may spend the afternoon in Central Park.
I'll probably also go stalk the stage door when the afternoon performance of Rent gets out. We went last night and got autographs from those actors that came out but Adam Pascal didn't come out. We are hoping that he will today so we can complete our signed Playbill and framed Rent picture.
Speaking of Rent last night...
Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal (the original Mark and Roger) are on right now. It was pretty awesome to see and hear the voices that I've listened to on the soundtrack (and seen in the movie) for so long. The show is outstanding to begin with so this just added. I could have really cried the entire second act but managed to contain my crying to Collins' singing I'll Cover You at Angel's funeral.
If you have never listened to and/or seen Rent, go do it. So good.
Anyways. I am looking forward to the day of taking pictures by myself and then Eddie, Eddie's mom and sister joining me later for more wandering and another show. Yay!
I hope everyone is doing well and is enjoying their long weekend.
