Gary and Bob came over last night for Christmas Eve dinner. We had a good time. Duke and Bob did their electronic thing, Gary was checkin' out the mac and I cooked. Gary downloaded a utility called Mac HelpMate which apparently was able to re do the pre-binding. Also it did some diagnostics: of the 256 RAM only about 1% is un-used....humm the source of our many problems perhaps...
I got a call from a very good friend, unfortunately she has some dark spots on her brain, they don't know yet if is MS or pre-stroke, or....maybe not anything. We talked for a long time...They want to do a spinal tap to help them diagnose what is going on. She is scared about the pain. Duke had one in the ER several years ago - it was not too painful. I hope that reassured her a little, at least about that.
