Montgomery is flooding right now. I mean, like, RIGHT THE FUCK NOW. My house is on a hill so we're okay for now, but the lower streets in our neighborhood are all flooded out. My sister tried to run for necessities and saw cars under water in some place, holy shit.

If I have to hit the roof, I'm going to be miserable. :

The snow stuck in some places, and apparently a few roads here and there got icey patches (and thus should have been closed, but whatever). One of my co-worker's parents got into a car wreck; they were fine, but he had to leave early to pick them up, so instead of going in at 4:00 pm and working to closing like I was supposed to, I ended up going ( Read more... )

It's snowing outside.

...Please close the roads so I don't have to go to work today, Department of Transportation. I'd like to stay in bed. It's very cold, I don't have a heater in my car, and the thermostat at work is literally kept under lock and key and set to the setting of "ICE".
