Yeah- he was a cool dad. I once jokingly asked him to adopt me, and we had a chuckle over that.
That's great about Grand Biloxi and Casino Magic- they're owned by large parent companies, so that's a good thing for their employees. Treasure Bay- I wonder how they were allowed to be in buisness with no insurance! Maybe I am just thinking of FL where this is mandatory. I feel bad for those people. Hopefully, they can find some way to get their money and moveon with life. We might see a lot more casinos over on the Mississippi River from now on.
I might go to New Orleans this time next year, if possible. I really need to go back. It's been rumoured that the racial demographics will forever be changed and that many Blacks that left may never come back, in effect sanitizing the city and gentrifying it. I don't know how I will feel about that, if it happens. It kinda scares me that it'll turn into...well..... Orlando, or something. Overpriced, overhyped and family safe. Make it...well....white, in other words. That sounds terrible of me to say, but you know what I mean. You're not white, in the stereotypical sense, so don't take it personal. :) I think you get my meaning.
