Just me ducking in for a spell...
First off- I am doing much better, thank you. I still have my moments, I won't lie. But they are further and further apart. Oddly enough I have had a couple of work related dreams, but that's normal I suppose.
The workshop was a big boost to my writing ego, I have to say. For a few years now I felt like my ideas weren't even half readable or ready to be pitched to an agent. The workshop I attended was facilitated by and actual agent, and the story idea I pitched the last day of class she thought had some serious potiential. I am starting to actually think I can do something with this writing talent I am supposed to have. Plus I got to eat lunch and talk with a number of authors on a one to one basis, pass out some of my cards for connections and just feel more like a real writer. Even though I know it won't be easy fopr me to get to that point, I am more willing to take that risk and see what happens. After all, what's to lose?
Oh and this goes out to all on my FL- if you know anything (or anyone) about current life and daily goings on any of the following places, I would appreciate the help. I am researching for my book (or knowing me, books) and need first hand info: Dublin & the East Counties; metroplitian London; Washington, D.C.; Berlin and/or Munich; France (any area), Japan (cities) & Italy (spec. Naples, Venice and Rome). For starters. :)) I know, I don't ask for much at all, do I...
