This is not how a computer works.

I'm not sure how I should feel about Tron (because I'm usually a purist when it comes to things that were created just before I was born nostalgia), but it should not be giving me plot bunnies.

As a side note, I'm thinking of getting a Netflix account and running, as part of WTFurdays, a classic sci-fi movie night -- as in, titles you know you've heard of before (or at least have seen references to, whether or not you knew it) but probably have never actually sat through before. Among these:

Tron
Back to the Future (first one, if only because I didn't particularly care for the others)
The Blob (which we actually have, so yay?)
The Fly (although I might be biased on this one)
Alien
ET
The Iron Giant
The Terminator (I've heard it's best to go with the second one.)
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Jurassic Park
Men In Black (Screw you, Independence Day.)
Robocop
Godzilla (Any one, although I get the feeling people would appreciate the absolute horror that was the 1990's version.)
Max Headroom: 20 Minutes Into the Future
Star Trek: Wrath of Khan (KHAAAAAAN.)
Soylent Green
Barbarella (It's either porn or cracky sci-fi. I don't think the movie has decided which.)
Serenity
Galaxy Quest

Now, if you've noticed that Star Wars is missing from this list, there's a couple reasons behind that:

1. Everyone's seen at least one of them. Everyone. No exceptions.
2. I know there's a lot of SW fans here, and while I think the franchise is equally awesome, I figured it'd be nice to branch out and experience samplings of sci-fi that aren't just about aliens. Except, you know, the kind that come to Earth. Or Star Trek, but that one's only on the list for the one-liner.

So, uh, yes. Something cool or no? Also, any other titles to add to the list?
