Moira J. Moore
I recently read Resenting the Hero and The Hero Strikes Back (which is, amazingly, the sequel) by Moira J. Moore. Words cannot describe how much I enjoyed them. They didn't last more than a day, poor little books. *Pats them* I would recommend them to anyone who (vaguely) shares my tastes. Just look at the cover of the first book. It's hilarious! So is the novel itself, though not in the way the cover suggests. It's fantasy.
So what have I been up to in my last snatch of 2006? Desperately searching for the release date of the next book in the aforementioned series. Nothing to find, sadly. I nearly had kittens when I saw the second book had an epilogue. Luckily, epilogues don't always mean the series is over - apparently there's one more book coming.
Really, I'm trying not to obsess too much. *twitch* In the meantime I've earned some money by scanning in dad's old pictures. It's a bit mind-numbing and requires very little attention, but hey, easy money! Needless to say, I wrote while the scanner did the work. I got quite a bit further with my original fic. *Points to 'accomplished' emoticon*
Now I shall delve into the world of fanfiction that is Star Ocean. My original fic doesn't have anyone with blue hair. A lethal flaw. I hang my head in shame.
