Not the best news.
Dad's blockage is located past a bypass area, making it dangerous to go after it--the bypass artery could collapse, or other bad things. So, medication, which imposes all kinds of limitations on his activity. He's taking it well, if a bit crankily (well, I did tell him to sit on his butt for at least 24 hrs to see if the new meds bug him) but the good news is that he can still go on the trip as long as he has nitro with him. Baby brother, SIL, and I were already thinking on how to make this trip easier on both Mom and Dad, so this news doesn't really change that. Except that I need to get over my sinus/throat issues and get my butt back into the gym so I can haul all the luggage. :)
