Feeling kinda anxious today.
Dad's having an angiogram right now to determine where he's got blockage in his arteries. (He's had 2 prior tests to confirm there is blockage somewhere.) Waiting for Mom to call as the cardiologist thinks this is not a bypass procedure but a stent if the blockage is in a larger artery. If it's in a smaller one and they have to resort to clot busting via blood thinners, I'm not sure he'll be able to go to China, and that would sucketh verily.
Yesterday sucked too. I had water in the basement (looooots of it) thanks to a heavy downpour and a neighbor that can't keep her guttering on, so the water from her place went straight into the southeast corner of my basement. The smell set my allergies off again, so I was hauling water up the stairs from the vacuum inbetween coughing/choking/puking. Neighbor wasn't home, so I had to hop her gate in the pouring rain and put on the gutter, which was lying on the fence, of all places. I tiptoed through the mud / dog poop, hoping her dogs wouldn't come flying out of the garage (thankfully that didn't happen). Then I broke my air machine last night while cleaning it. Then I looked at my calendar and had to laugh because it was Sunday the 13th.
Baby brother just called. No news yet.
