The knitting is not going well. I keep ending up with extra stitches and I don't know how to fix this without starting all over. I have knitted for five days now and I don't have enough to make a thong for a mouse. I have one row. One row, that as of now, has the correct number of stitches. Patience! We all have to have it at some point. Whether we find it or not and at the right time is another idea for another time.
Is it possible that your pinky is numb from knitting? They pressure put on holding the needles may be pinching a nerve in your hand somewhere, or blocking the blood flow. If I remember correctly, the side of my hand would go numb when I would knit.
Too bad you don't have some super sexy hot knitting teacher that can give you some private tutoring!

Yep, I need to be patient. I am just really surprised at how bad I am sucking. Tonight is the class and I seriously thought of calling off work today to stay home and knit. I totally don't have my homework done and it isn't from lack of trying. I did buy a really cute orange stripped bag to keep my knitting and supplies in. Hopefully teacher will be so pleased that I always have knitting on my mind and be too kind to mention that I could have just purchased a coin purse and fit what I have accomplished so far.
