Productive!
Well we had a good weekend. Suzy, Matthew and Andrew came to visit on Saturday for a day trip. They were bringing Matthew's parents down to pick up their car and their dog cause his sister had been looking after them and she lives here. So we showed them our new house and stuff. Chris had to go to work at 12, so then the rest of us went out for lunch, only we were trying to get Andrew to go to sleep so we ended up driving around eating it. Then we went bowling and Suzy kicked our butts! Matthew and I were competing for second. He won, but only just. We're just as bad as each other. Andrew has been doing baby sign and showed me his 'finished' sign. It's just so cute! And he claps his hands too its just adorable. They're going to Victoria in May - driving across the Nullarbor in their camper trailer. I so wish we could go too, but there are work commitments so it's not going to happen. Sigh. It would be so much fun though.
So that was Saturday, then on Sunday I woke up and must have sneezed about a million times throughout the day - yep, a cold. Which meant absolutely no sleep last night. It's just impossible for me to sleep. Chris was right there next to me sleeping like a baby. I was so annoyed. At about 2am after being awake all night I looked at the clock thinking that it must have been about 6am by now and couldn't believe it when it said 2am. It was torture. I really cannot stand colds, I may as well stay up all night when I have one. It'd be better than tossing and turning and having horrible chaotic dreams in the 5 minutes sleep that I actually got.
So of course I was completely zonked this morning and seriously considered calling in sick, but I knew I'd have way too much work tomorrow if I did that. So I went... and my first kid was absent, my second kid's teacher rang to change the day to Wednesday and my third kid has changed schools and wasn't there either. So I had no kids!! So I went to my base school, wrote a things-to-do list.... and got through it all by 1:30 without a break!!!!!!! I was so productive today and I'm really proud of it cause I'm still like a zombie. Must have been that iced coffee that I drove all over Eaton to get and ended up getting in Bunbury. And the skittles....
I keep getting this sharp stabbing pain in the back of my neck where it goes down towards my right shoulder. I don't know what it is, but it's really sore and random. n
Now I have to get off and clean my car cause tomorrow it's going to be in the paper. Anyone want a 1998 Falcon?
