"If there are one or more people on your friends list who make your world a better place just because they exist, and who you would not have met (in real life or not) without the Internet, then post this same sentence in your journal."

Well it seems like I'm only managing to post once a week these days. It's just getting too hard, what with work and Chris being home a lot now and the internet being CRAP!!! I can't WAIT until we can get broadband. But all the broadband offers these days are 12 or 24 month contracts, so we have to wait until our lease on the house is up so that we can get it either here if we renew or wherever we move to.
We've had a busy week. Chris's Dad came to visit on Tuesday night. He was down for work, so we had Chinese for dinner and I made a yummy apple crumble. On Thursday we went to see The Bourne Ultimatum, which was great. Except for the shaky camerawork. If you see it make sure you sit at the back. Chris's friend Neil dropped by yesterday after work on his way home from a work thing in Bunbury.
Today we went to Dunsbrough and Yallingup to look around and get out and about. It was a windy rainy-then-sunny-then-rainy type day. But it was good. We had lunch in Dunsbrough and then walked around the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse walk trails. We visited Sugarloaf Rock and then went down to Yallingup and looked around there. We finished the day with a yummy visit to Simmo's Ice Cream, where I had a Chunky Monkey (banana and chocolate chip ice cream) and Chris had a choc-coconut ice cream. It was a nice way to spend the afternoon :)
I'm looking forward to this week. My friend
simple_graces is going to be staying in a town not far north from us, so I'm going to visit her sometime later this week. Then on Friday I'm heading up to Perth for my friend's wedding. Really looking forward to that. Chris has to work on Friday, so he can't go to the wedding. He's going to come up either Friday arvo or Saturday morning on the bus. Then Saturday night is GIRLS NIGHT IN!!!!!!! Woohoo!!!
I only found out last week that the Uniting Church Spring Ball is on on the same night as GNI. But I've already organised GNI and there's no way I'd cancel it for anything! Haven't seen my good friends for ages so nothing's going to interfere with that. Woohoo!! :D Guess I'll give you all the big update next weekend from my parents' new house. (They're moving house on Monday!)
