And it's abundant, since they're going to release new single "Brand New Story" on July 17th XD
I'll start with their interview on JJ Magazine August 2019 issue. It features 9 Q&A to every member and also how everyone is in the other members' point of view.
Here we go~
Q1. What do you want to do while wearing white T-shirt like today?
Alan: Since it's okay to get wet while wearing T-shirt, I'll go to the sea. I like old T-shirts, so I bought lots of T-shirts from old artists' lives or band, and also movies' T-shirts.
Ryota: I want to go to the sea. Instead of getting into the sea, I want to walk along the coast and relax in the cafe at the seashore. Now (at the time the interview was done), I'm shooting for a movie in Kamakura. But since I only went there for working, I want to go there again and have fun in private.
Reo: Since it's comfortable, I want to go for a lunch or coffee at a nearby place.
Ryuto: Mountain climbing! Though I wear white T-shirt, I want to hang out to my heart's content without worrying anything.
Mandy: I want to go somewhere which gets lots of sunlight. I guess it's the sea then.
Hayato: I want to go to the sea where there's no one else. There's an open-fire cafe at Hayama, so I think it would be great to go there by car and relaxing beside the open-fire while drinking coffee.
Yuta: I want to do outdoor things like camping. Getting a bit dirty with white T-shirt will be great. I used to like black T-shirts more before, but now I prefer whire T-shirts.
Q2. What do you want to do with members in summer?
Alan: I'll reserve a cottage for around 2 nights. We'll go to the sea, do BBQ. The one who usually manage an event among GENE members is unexpectedly Reo. Then, it's Ryuto, I guess.
Ryota: Since in winter, we had hotpot at Ryuto's place, for summer, I'd like to do BBQ.
Reo: I want to go somewhere faraway and stay for around 2 days. I want us to stay at a homestay, and since everyone likes delicious food, we'll go to some local restaurants. If it's at seashore, I guess we'll visit sushi restaurant? Since I like garden eel and squid, it will be great to visit a place which has delicious squid.
Ryuto: Since I do surfing, I want to go together wih everyone to the sea. We'll have BBQ at noon, then we'll get into the sea again and I also want to have full (surfing) course. Though among GENE members I'm the only one who does surfing, in summer holiday I'd like to invite everyone and do it together.
Mandy: Before, we ever did recording in a cottage at Mount Fuji area. It was a cool terrace-house-like place where we could see Mount Fuji from the verandah. I want to go somewhere like that.
Hayato: Having BBQ at riverside! I want to try going to somewhere with unusual atmosphere inside the woods.
Yuta: I'd love to drive to the sea and have BBQ. Since Ryota-kun already has license, he'll do the driving. And since Ryuto-kun is good in cooking, he'll do the cooking!
Q3. If you are to have a summer holiday alone, what do you want to do?
Alan: I want to go to LDH Europe in Amsterdam and learn about music there. If possible, I'd like to do that for a whole month.
Ryota: I want to have a trip alone to Kyoto. I want to eat distinctive food of Kyoto and visit shrines. Though I like how time feels like flowing too fast in Tokyo, I also want to feel spending time alone slowly sometimes.
Reo: Of course I'll go abroad. Just a few days ago, I went to NY and meeting the local creators and musicians there really motivates me. It was so interesting. When we went to London for our previous tour, I made friends there, so I'll ask them to show me around and I want to learn about the cutting-edge fashion there.
Ryuto: I want to go to Hawaii which is the trigger for me to learn surfing.
Mandy: I'll go on a trip overseas alone.
Hayato: I want to go around coffee shops in the metropolitan area. Since I love coffee, I have lots of raw beans and I grind and roast them myself too. I want to go to shops with specialized roasting and blending, I want to drink various coffee and compare them.
Yuta: I want to go to NY or LA, watching my favorite dancers' performances and learning from that.
Q4. If the members were family, how it would be?
Alan: Since they're both reliable, Ryota and Reo would be the oldest twins. The moodmaker Hayato would be the second son, and Mandy would be the youngest child because of his easily-bullied character. The calm and well-prepared Ryuto-kun would be the father, I'd be the mother. Since Yuta-kun has such lovable presence, he'd be the pet dog (laugh).
Ryota: Since he's the oldest, Mandy-san would be the oldest son. The second son would be Ryuto-kun who sometimes gets lonely easily. Hayato has a feel of the only daughter who is strong-willed and cute. Alan-kun would be the father, who would also be like a family mascot. To support the father, the mother would be Reo who unexpectedly could take care of everything. And Yuta would be the grandpa who looks after everyone warmly (laugh).
Reo: Since they're both reliable, Ryuto-kun would be the father and Ryota-kun would be the mother. Yuta-kun would be the kind, little bit careless grandpa. Mandy, since he's the oldest, would be the grandpa (laugh). And since Yuta-kun is everyone's toy, he'd be the pet dog.
Mandy: Since Ryota can see everything objectively, he'd be the mother. Reo would be the grandpa. Though he calls me "old man" a lot, he's old-fashioned in a good way and suits more to be the grandpa. Ryuto would be the uncle. Seems like he would listen to everything his relatives' kids told him without delicacy (laugh). The oldest son would be Alan-kun. Seems like he'd soon find what he wants to do and left home for that. Hayato is sensitive, so he would be the handful little sister. Yuta-kun would be the pet dog. Pet won't betray us, right? He has something in common about that. By the way, I would be the father.
Hayato: Because he's our leader, Alan-kun would be the father. And since he gets angry on trivial things, Mandy-san would be the mother (laugh). Q5. If you could have one of the member as your boyfriend, who would it be?
Alan: No one. I knew them too well so it's impossible (laugh). But I think it's okay to date Ryuto-kun just for around 3 days.
Ryota: Mandy-san. Because he's pure and kind.
Reo: Since I know everyone too well I can't even think of dating any of them, so I don't want to date anyone from them!
Ryuto: None! But if I really had to choose, I'd pick Yuta-kun.
Mandy: I guess Yuta-kun. Since he's pure, seems like he would make me happy. But it's also possible that our everyday would be plain...
Hayato: Hmm. (When he said so, Ryuto appeared) I guess Ryuto-kun, yeah. If he said "Don't get close to anyone" or "I will protect you", I think I wouldn't dare getting close to anyone for sure (laugh).
Yuta: Ryuto-kun. Though he might appear like that, he's actually a gentleman who is kind to women.
Q6. If you could be someone among the member, who would you want to be?
Alan: Mandy-kun. I want to try fashion which suits his style and figure.
Ryota: Yuta-kun. I want to dance easily like how he always does.
Reo: Yuta-kun. He's cute and kind, but he also has crazy side. I think living like that would be fun.
Ryuto: I want to be Ryota-kun and experience being a prince for one day. In Katayose Ryota's way, I want to queue at a tapioca store in Omotesando and get people excitedly say, "Kya, kya!" on me.
Mandy: I guess Ryota. Because it's my dream to appear in sparkling movies. Well, I'm actually pretty much sparkling though.
Hayato: Ryuto-kun! I envy how he has great interest in outdoor activities like surfing.
Yuta: Ryota-kun. I want to be a prince too!
Q7. What part of you do you think won't lose to other members?
Alan: My particularity about sounds. I use my earphone and headphone for many different use, like for dancing, DJ, or on my PC.
Ryota: My quick-thinker side. There are lots of boke (the one who takes role as the fool) in GENE, so mostly, I'm the tsukkomi (the one who points out the sillyness of the boke). I have confidence in my speed of pointing out on others' sillyness.
Reo: I think I watch anime and movies more than anyone else!
Ryuto: My frequency of going to yakiniku restaurant. I really like it that I have a record of eating yakiniku for 16 days in a row. When GENE goes for yakiniku together, it's always me who makes the booking.
Mandy: I'm noisier than everyone else. Recently, I was the only one who's happy and I kinda annoyed everyone with that. Well, such things happened too (laugh).
Hayato: The number of IPhone I had. Every time I dropped my phone, the screen got cracked right away. I cracked my current phone after 2 weeks (laugh).
Yuta: My mental strength. Though no one laugh on my jokes, I keep doing gags to make everyone excited-that mentality I have won't lose to anyone!
Q8. What menu do you order for yakiniku?
Alan: Skirt steak. I often eat lean meat too.
Ryota: Salty beef tongue!
Reo: Skirt steak.
Ryuto: Skirt steak. In yakiniku world, skirt steak is the king!
Mandy: Liver.
Hayato: Salty beef tongue!
Yuta: I like fish more than meat though, but I often eat beef tripe.
Q9. What kind of present or snacks that you get unintentionally from others which can boost your mood?
Alan: Jojoen lunchbox! I was so happy too when Mandy-kun brought us tapioca during rehearsal! When I have to bring snack for everyone, I bring lots of protein bars.Ryota: Since I love chicken karaage, it will boost my mood!
Reo: Since I actually likes umeboshi, I guess it will be umeboshi.
Ryuto: Jojoen lunchbox and karaage. Anything related to meat will boost my mood!
Mandy: Tapioca boosts my mood to the max!
Hayato: Aroma oil. I use a diffuser at home because I like fragrant stuffs.
Yuta: Since I like fruits, strawberries and muscats make me happy.

Ryota: Really cheerful. Though he also has worries too, he can overcome it with his positive and composed nature.
Reo: He won't crumble no matter what happens, and he's a happy-go-lucky type who knows no pain. Even when he feels down, he'll recover in just 2 seconds and act as if it's just a funny story.
Ryuto: He's a sound maniac. Since he really likes music, he studies about it and even makes song on his own. It's great that he can create something out of what he likes. His always-cheerful-and-positive characteristic is respectable.
Mandy: The happy-go-lucky leader. Seems like you'll have lots of fun if you can have him as a roommate.
Hayato: Alan-kun is forever my senior. He's my senior at high school and also when I entered LDH. He's someone I can always rely on.
Yuta: First of all, I'm troubled because he's too handsome. When we go drinking together, everyone's face will be like swollen on the next morning but he's the only one who looks fresh. It makes me think, "A handsome guy is indeed different~" (laugh)

Alan: Though he has a strong image of a prince, when he gets drunk he becomes kinda aggresive (laugh).
Reo: He's such an earnest person, perhaps he's the one who thinks about our group the most. He always reads the atmosphere around him and he's also good in managing the situation. For example, when we have to discuss 5 topics in an 1-hour meeting, he's the one who takes care of the time allocation.
Ryuto: He likes wine so much that he has wine cellar in his house. Though all members are good in drinking, they say that it's me and Ryota who are good in drinking.
Mandy: He's clever and sharp, so he's like the brain in GENE.
Hayato: Though I used to think he seemed wicked, he's actually not like that at all. I like him a lot, but in the past, I used to be the character who was like 'I hate Ryota-kun' (laugh).
Yuta: He talks a lot when he gets drunk. It's so much to the extent that I think is annoying (laugh).
-"Sano Reo" in members' point of view
Alan: Before I knew it, he'd already take a nap. I think it's Reo's talent that he can sleep anytime, anywhere!
Ryota: He is a possessor of passion. He thinks much about the group and his vision about the future, and he's a type that translates his ideas into actions.
Ryuto: Anime maniac. He watches lots of various anime. Before, at a game center near shooting location, he wanted to get lots of anime figures so he played crane game all the time.
Mandy: He's a walking dictionary. Since he's very knowledgeable, he always says, "Because it's like this, it should be done this way" and thinks logically about everything. That side of him makes him like a grandpa.
Hayato: Reo is someone who has been together with me for even longer time than my mom. We've been together since I was 10 years old, so before I knew it, I've spent more than half of my life with him. To think that way, I think he's someone who is more than family for me.
Yuta: He might has a strong image of an unfriendly guy, but he actually cares a lot to his friends and he's kind. Actually, he's sometimes depending on others too.

Alan: A gourmet. He knows a lot about yakiniku and sushi. Before I knew it, he already reached the position of a gourmet. He goes to restaurants repeatedly, so when GENE goes out for a meal together, he's always the one who chooses the restaurant.
Ryota: He's a person with overflowing compassion. He cares for the members and symphatetic too.
Reo: Mr. Freedom. Seeing his lifestyle, it's like he can live by relying on his instinct.
Mandy: He's naughty but sensitive. Though he also has bold side, it's not so much like Alan-kun who usually says, "It's okay, right!". But he has it in his own way, I guess.
Hayato: He's someone who takes me outside. Before, he took me out for surfing and also introduced me to some new stores. I'm an indoor type anyway, so he has helped me a lot.
Yuta: Though he appears to be easygoing, he's unexpectedly meticulous. He likes beauty and cares about it a lot that he does things like facial massage and nail care too.

Alan: His feelings are shown on his face, so he's easy to understand. Unexpectedly, he also has angry side (laugh).
Ryota: Recently, each member's personality gets stronger, our each character stands out, and he tries to make his new character popular.
Reo: People often said he's kind, but let me tell this here only, it's just a mask. He's a type who deals with various things while pretending to be a kind guy (laugh).
Ryuto: He's so slow in replying on LINE! He replies fast on important matters but otherwise, he keeps postponing it (laugh). He doesn't even read it, and even though I sent it at noon, the reply will come at midnight.
Hayato: He's my drinking buddy. We often go out for a drink, just the two of us. We never discuss about anything serious, it's always about trivial things.
Yuta: He always jokes around and it makes him interesting. Though Hayato can brighten the atmosphere with his talks, it's only when Men-san is around that everyone really gets excited.

Alan: He's great in offering drinks! He knows the perfect timing to say, "Let's have a toast!".
Ryota: He moves to tears the easiest among members. Though he laughed just now, if there's something moved him, he'll cry. He's a funny person with delicate feeling and great sensitivity, so I think he kinda has a gap on that.
Reo: He unexpectedly has girly side. He likes aroma oil and black tea, and his movie choices are mostly love stories.
Ryuto: He's a sensitive comical person. He's our MC at GENEKou, so he works hard on talking. But since he talks so much, he's noisy (laugh).
Mandy: He gets lonely so easily and he hates the situation he doesn't know or something only he has never heard of. I think that side of him is cute.
Yuta: He's talkative so he always talks. He's GENE's moodmaker who always boosts everyone's mood.

Alan: He's actually shy. When we went to a festival together on the other day, I was having fun at the floor while Yuta-kun stayed cool. I think he's a type who is having fun in a calm way.
Ryota: Lately, he jokes around a lot. But that quality he has is so good! He's steadily improving.
Reo: Though he's very earnest and talented, he's also kinda weird. Though I repeatedly think, "What a great guy he is" when he's performing, I often get "What is he actually thinking?" on his everyday talks and actions.
Ryuto: He's an animal lover. He loves his hedgehogs Milo and Albee so much. Every time he talks about hedgehogs, he looks really happy.
Mandy: He's a pure guy. He's a type of person who moves according to his heart without calculating about loss and gain.
Hayato: He's my tranquilizer. Just being with him gives me peace of mind. I like the feeling we have when we're together, without demanding anything else.

Ryota: My quick-thinker side. There are lots of boke (the one who takes role as the fool) in GENE, so mostly, I'm the tsukkomi (the one who points out the sillyness of the boke). I have confidence in my speed of pointing out on others' sillyness.
Reo: I think I watch anime and movies more than anyone else!
Ryuto: My frequency of going to yakiniku restaurant. I really like it that I have a record of eating yakiniku for 16 days in a row. When GENE goes for yakiniku together, it's always me who makes the booking.
Mandy: I'm noisier than everyone else. Recently, I was the only one who's happy and I kinda annoyed everyone with that. Well, such things happened too (laugh).
Hayato: The number of IPhone I had. Every time I dropped my phone, the screen got cracked right away. I cracked my current phone after 2 weeks (laugh).
Yuta: My mental strength. Though no one laugh on my jokes, I keep doing gags to make everyone excited-that mentality I have won't lose to anyone!
Q8. What menu do you order for yakiniku?
Alan: Skirt steak. I often eat lean meat too.
Ryota: Salty beef tongue!
Reo: Skirt steak.
Ryuto: Skirt steak. In yakiniku world, skirt steak is the king!
Mandy: Liver.
Hayato: Salty beef tongue!
Yuta: I like fish more than meat though, but I often eat beef tripe.
Q9. What kind of present or snacks that you get unintentionally from others which can boost your mood?
Alan: Jojoen lunchbox! I was so happy too when Mandy-kun brought us tapioca during rehearsal! When I have to bring snack for everyone, I bring lots of protein bars.Ryota: Since I love chicken karaage, it will boost my mood!
Reo: Since I actually likes umeboshi, I guess it will be umeboshi.
Ryuto: Jojoen lunchbox and karaage. Anything related to meat will boost my mood!
Mandy: Tapioca boosts my mood to the max!
Hayato: Aroma oil. I use a diffuser at home because I like fragrant stuffs.
Yuta: Since I like fruits, strawberries and muscats make me happy.

Ryota: Really cheerful. Though he also has worries too, he can overcome it with his positive and composed nature.
Reo: He won't crumble no matter what happens, and he's a happy-go-lucky type who knows no pain. Even when he feels down, he'll recover in just 2 seconds and act as if it's just a funny story.
Ryuto: He's a sound maniac. Since he really likes music, he studies about it and even makes song on his own. It's great that he can create something out of what he likes. His always-cheerful-and-positive characteristic is respectable.
Mandy: The happy-go-lucky leader. Seems like you'll have lots of fun if you can have him as a roommate.
Hayato: Alan-kun is forever my senior. He's my senior at high school and also when I entered LDH. He's someone I can always rely on.
Yuta: First of all, I'm troubled because he's too handsome. When we go drinking together, everyone's face will be like swollen on the next morning but he's the only one who looks fresh. It makes me think, "A handsome guy is indeed different~" (laugh)

Alan: Though he has a strong image of a prince, when he gets drunk he becomes kinda aggresive (laugh).
Reo: He's such an earnest person, perhaps he's the one who thinks about our group the most. He always reads the atmosphere around him and he's also good in managing the situation. For example, when we have to discuss 5 topics in an 1-hour meeting, he's the one who takes care of the time allocation.
Ryuto: He likes wine so much that he has wine cellar in his house. Though all members are good in drinking, they say that it's me and Ryota who are good in drinking.
Mandy: He's clever and sharp, so he's like the brain in GENE.
Hayato: Though I used to think he seemed wicked, he's actually not like that at all. I like him a lot, but in the past, I used to be the character who was like 'I hate Ryota-kun' (laugh).
Yuta: He talks a lot when he gets drunk. It's so much to the extent that I think is annoying (laugh).

Alan: Before I knew it, he'd already take a nap. I think it's Reo's talent that he can sleep anytime, anywhere!
Ryota: He is a possessor of passion. He thinks much about the group and his vision about the future, and he's a type that translates his ideas into actions.
Ryuto: Anime maniac. He watches lots of various anime. Before, at a game center near shooting location, he wanted to get lots of anime figures so he played crane game all the time.
Mandy: He's a walking dictionary. Since he's very knowledgeable, he always says, "Because it's like this, it should be done this way" and thinks logically about everything. That side of him makes him like a grandpa.
Hayato: Reo is someone who has been together with me for even longer time than my mom. We've been together since I was 10 years old, so before I knew it, I've spent more than half of my life with him. To think that way, I think he's someone who is more than family for me.
Yuta: He might has a strong image of an unfriendly guy, but he actually cares a lot to his friends and he's kind. Actually, he's sometimes depending on others too.

Alan: A gourmet. He knows a lot about yakiniku and sushi. Before I knew it, he already reached the position of a gourmet. He goes to restaurants repeatedly, so when GENE goes out for a meal together, he's always the one who chooses the restaurant.
Ryota: He's a person with overflowing compassion. He cares for the members and symphatetic too.
Reo: Mr. Freedom. Seeing his lifestyle, it's like he can live by relying on his instinct.
Mandy: He's naughty but sensitive. Though he also has bold side, it's not so much like Alan-kun who usually says, "It's okay, right!". But he has it in his own way, I guess.
Hayato: He's someone who takes me outside. Before, he took me out for surfing and also introduced me to some new stores. I'm an indoor type anyway, so he has helped me a lot.
Yuta: Though he appears to be easygoing, he's unexpectedly meticulous. He likes beauty and cares about it a lot that he does things like facial massage and nail care too.

Alan: His feelings are shown on his face, so he's easy to understand. Unexpectedly, he also has angry side (laugh).
Ryota: Recently, each member's personality gets stronger, our each character stands out, and he tries to make his new character popular.
Reo: People often said he's kind, but let me tell this here only, it's just a mask. He's a type who deals with various things while pretending to be a kind guy (laugh).
Ryuto: He's so slow in replying on LINE! He replies fast on important matters but otherwise, he keeps postponing it (laugh). He doesn't even read it, and even though I sent it at noon, the reply will come at midnight.
Hayato: He's my drinking buddy. We often go out for a drink, just the two of us. We never discuss about anything serious, it's always about trivial things.
Yuta: He always jokes around and it makes him interesting. Though Hayato can brighten the atmosphere with his talks, it's only when Men-san is around that everyone really gets excited.

Alan: He's great in offering drinks! He knows the perfect timing to say, "Let's have a toast!".
Ryota: He moves to tears the easiest among members. Though he laughed just now, if there's something moved him, he'll cry. He's a funny person with delicate feeling and great sensitivity, so I think he kinda has a gap on that.
Reo: He unexpectedly has girly side. He likes aroma oil and black tea, and his movie choices are mostly love stories.
Ryuto: He's a sensitive comical person. He's our MC at GENEKou, so he works hard on talking. But since he talks so much, he's noisy (laugh).
Mandy: He gets lonely so easily and he hates the situation he doesn't know or something only he has never heard of. I think that side of him is cute.
Yuta: He's talkative so he always talks. He's GENE's moodmaker who always boosts everyone's mood.
-"Nakatsuka Yuta" in members' point of view
Alan: He's actually shy. When we went to a festival together on the other day, I was having fun at the floor while Yuta-kun stayed cool. I think he's a type who is having fun in a calm way.
Ryota: Lately, he jokes around a lot. But that quality he has is so good! He's steadily improving.
Reo: Though he's very earnest and talented, he's also kinda weird. Though I repeatedly think, "What a great guy he is" when he's performing, I often get "What is he actually thinking?" on his everyday talks and actions.
Ryuto: He's an animal lover. He loves his hedgehogs Milo and Albee so much. Every time he talks about hedgehogs, he looks really happy.
Mandy: He's a pure guy. He's a type of person who moves according to his heart without calculating about loss and gain.
Hayato: He's my tranquilizer. Just being with him gives me peace of mind. I like the feeling we have when we're together, without demanding anything else.
