Supernatural TV Buffet from HELL!
Ok so a little more ranting on a new topic... but after watching 82 and a half HOURS of TV in a week, staying up till eveyone else is going out the house in the morning, just to watch the last couple of episodes just because there is no way in hell (or Heaven) that I was going to sleep... So after 2 hours sleep, my best (so called) friend being on her holls and not responding to my deprat texts... I have no other choice but to spair my family (they are already fed up of it) and rant here ^_^... so here goes...
My best (so called) friend T, had been going on about this show for ages, being an angst fest, and I HAD watched the pilot episode years back and not been too impressed, so never kept watching it... OH MY GOD's was I wrong (but kinda right :S)
So... The show? (looks below at unmissable banner from Series 5)
So ya... My best (so called) Friend, (who introdused me to NCIS, (another marathon of watching) then SGA (after years of hateing it)) so she turnes up one day with the 1st boxed set of Supernatural, and I was like, "whut evaa... I'll watch it when I have the time." so a few day's later, I think may as well get this over with, and start watching it on my PC (duel screen ftw ^_^) as I play wow and farm stuff, prepered to just grin and bear it while I do sumfink else. but slowly I actualy start watching, thinking, this is ok, it's not total crud... THEN... the last 2 episodes I forgot what ever else I was fiddaling with and just sit their watching, unable to take my eyes off my 2nd monitor. then WHAM! the Impala is hit by a truck and everyone squished and like WTF? so there I was last Satarday, phoning T and squealing at her as I depratly try and DL the next few episodes of season 2, as she chuckles at me, saying I can borrow the next season (Joy!) not so joy as she's on holls on the monday and cant make it up till monday morning... BUT... Monday is the only day I work (/sigh I need more hours >_<) so she says she'll bring um up before work, so I DL like 6 epis, cos sereiusly there was NO way I was gonna wait that long O_O... so anyway, monday comes, I even get up eairly to wait for her, but she doesnt show (one of her puppies got sick) so I'm at work, feeling like some crack head waiting for the next hit and her dealer to call, I was a total mess till I get a text at 12:20pm saying she's dropped them off at my house. JOY!... so when I get home, I eat, then run for the hills... My DVD player hasnt been used so much in years! (couldnt watch it on my PC cos I didnt wana be distracted, this isnt a show you can even blink cos you might miss something!)
So... from Monday about 6pm to Satarday 6:30am I devoured season 2 to 5.
Think the family got worried, but like I said, it's like reading a really, REALLY exhalant book that you just can NOT put down, evey page needed turning, every chapter had to be read... I think I only moved when my ass was numb, needed to potty, or get more tea... think I drank enough tea to sink a battle shit O_O... I'm now exhausted, fustrated (cos there is a season 6, if not I think I might have had to kill someone.. namely my best friend :P tehe) exhited... but most of all... I NEED to see season 6... along with everyone else who stuck through the 1st season to see how fing brilliant this show is!!!
Also, I will lable myself right now as a Castiel/Dean fan... I KNEW there had to be some slash here somewhere and omg Cas is just so kinda strangly hot O_O and Dean, so not my type but again OMG!... I can see where the.. umm... Winsest? lot get off, but umm, just too wiered for me... well... for now :S (ya I'm worried, I really am :S)
I've always been into the Angel/Demons thing, specialy since reading 'Good Omens' (that books is my travaling book of choice for years ^_^) AND they have Crowley in Supernatural! AND he's a british guy who doesnt want the apocalips, I was so wondering if Aziraphale was gonna show, but I guess Crowley being a 'Littarery Agent' is as close as we are gonna get :P still I'm sure this has to be a nodd towards the book, to much like a coincidence :P
But ya, Constantine was an ok movie.
"The Prophacy" I, II & III were Fing brilliant, the best sequals to any movie ever, the angels and demons are just brilliant!
and I'm sure theres more stuff, but with very little sleep over the last week, I'm kinda forgetful ^_^
So ya, I'm gonna go scroung somemore Fanfiction, watch Supernatural from the beginning (omg Sam looks so thin! and well... Deans always cute ^_^) as I wait for my own boxed sets to get here... ya... bed might be a good thing before I go gank my friend ^_^ ta taaa for now!
