Next costume project decided
So I'm still not planning on bringing any new costumes to CVI, and I'm going to spend the spring and summer fixing details on my old costumes. But I've now decided what I'm going to do after that. The background is that I've managed to get more people interested in creating a Battle of Endor group for 2013. I want to do Leia's Endor costume, but since our rebel base is starting to get saturated with Padmés and Leias, and Elise in Finland is also interested in Endor Leia, I'm also going for a generic Endor commando. The most complicated thing for most costumes will be the donut, and since it's shared between them I figure I can just do a commando as well. I can also be a bit attracted to the idea of having a costume where you can keep adding accessories and weaponry, in a way you can't with a face costume. Leia's costume will take some sewing, but shouldn't be too complicated. I've already found that I have a pattern that should work for the shirt and the pants. Both costumes will involve buying hardware and boots, so I guess that is where I will have to focus the budget.
